Ryan Muchowski, DPM, is a board-certified podiatric surgeon practicing at Colorado Foot and Ankle Sports Medicine in Parker, Colorado.
Dr. Muchowski received his doctorate from the California School of Podiatric Medicine located in San Francisco, California. Dr. Muchowski completed his three-year residency training in podiatric medicine and surgery at Coney Island Hospital. During his residency, Dr. Muchowski received extensive surgical training from bunion and hammertoe correction to more complicated rearfoot and ankle fractures. Dr. Muchowski received additional training, completing a year-long fellowship in advanced wound care in Brooklyn, New York.
Dr. Muchowski is currently board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine as well as board qualified in foot surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. Dr. Muchowski has a particular interest in aesthetic surgery of the foot in addition to diagnosing and treating all congenital and acquired foot and ankle deformities, as well as sports medicine-related pathologies and injuries.
Dr. Muchowski is well experienced in the most advanced treatment techniques for soft tissue pathology, such as plantar fasciitis and tendonitis/bursitis, including shockwave therapy, platelet-rich plasma, and amniotic regenerative injections, which are all advanced, conservative treatments for eliminating pain, swelling, and inflammation while allowing soft tissue to heal. Dr. Muchowski has extensive knowledge of the loss of cushioning in the feet and offers the treatment in the loss of fat pad atrophy with injectable fillers to the feet.
Dr. Muchowski is originally from the Midwest, growing up in Kansas City, Missouri. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri – Columbia.
